Ambassador John Bolton Endorses Kathy Szeliga for Senate
BALTIMORE, MD – Former Ambassador John Bolton has announced he is endorsing Maryland Senate Candidate Kathy Szeliga.
"Kathy and I agree that Congress must make America's national security the top priority," said Ambassador Bolton. "She knows that the world is safest when America is a respected leader on the global stage. Unfortunately, under the Obama Administration, America's foreign policy has weakened our position in the world, while our enemies have grown in strength. I support Kathy because I know she will work to restore America's security and keep Americans safe."

Helping Ellicott City

The property damage to homes and businesses in the area is still being assessed, but it looks like the cost will be substantial. 120 people were rescued from swiftly moving water, and another 100 people were rescued after being trapped in buildings and homes. And tragically, two people lost their lives. Mark and I send our thoughts and our prayers to their family and friends, as well as to all of those impacted by this terrible disaster.

Two years ago, Maryland was in trouble. After eight years under Gov. O'Malley's oppressive regulatory and tax environment, 8,000 small businesses in Maryland either left the state or went out of business. People were leaving Maryland in droves and the entrepreneurial spirit that had been the backbone of our economy was fading. Then we elected Larry Hogan in 2014. Since then, tolls and fees are coming down and we have been able to balance our budget without tax increases. As a businessman, Gov. Hogan understands what businesses need to grow and thrive in our state and is working in a bipartisan fashion to bring real change to Maryland.
