iOS 15 Software Issues: 5 Things You Need to Know

With iOS 15.6.1, Apple provides important security updates for iPhone users, continuing to refine iOS 15.

There is a noticeable difference between iOS 15 and older versions of iOS for some iPhone users. The latest software has received a lot of positive feedback.

The downside is that some iPhone users have already encountered a variety of bugs and performance issues. There are some issues that have carried over from iOS 15.6 and older versions of iOS 15, while others are completely new.

Our iOS 15 problems guide will provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of these problems. This article provides some resources to help you troubleshoot iOS 15 problems and find potential solutions. In addition, we will cover what you can expect from Apple in the future with respect to iOS 15 and the iOS downgrade.

iOS 15 Problems

Users of the new iPhone software are experiencing difficulties installing and downloading it. You can try hard resetting your phone if your iOS 15.6.1 installation gets stuck. The issue is usually resolved by doing this.

The device also has problems with abnormal battery drain, UI lag, AirPlay issues, Touch ID and Face ID issues, issues with third-party apps, iMessage issues, Wi-Fi issues, Siri issues, Location Services issues, Bluetooth issues, CarPlay issues, lockups, freezes, and crashes.
As more people switch from iOS 14 to iOS 15.6.1 and upgrade from older iOS 15 firmware to iOS 15.6.1, we expect the list of iOS 15.6.1 problems to grow.

We recommend preparing your iPhone for the download of iOS 15 if you haven’t already done so. You can avoid major headaches by doing some prep work ahead of time.

What is the iOS 15 Downgrade Status

In order to improve the performance of your iPhone, you can downgrade its software if you encounter bugs or performance issues on iOS 15. In other words, if it is available. At the moment, it isn’t.If iOS 15.6.1 starts causing problems, you will not be able to move your iPhone to iOS 15.6.1 if Apple stopped signing on iOS 15.6.

There are currently no signings for iOS 15.5, iOS 15.4.1, iOS 15.4, iOS 15.3.1, iOS 15.3, iOS 15.2.1, iOS 15.2, iOS 15.1.1, iOS 15.1, iOS 15.0.2, iOS 15.0.1, or iOS 15.5. Therefore, you cannot drop back to any of these updates.
Apple initially appeared to allow users to remain on iOS 14 and receive security updates and, perhaps, bug fixes, but that’s changed.

Since iOS 14.8.1 was released in October, there hasn’t been a new version of iOS 14. You cannot update your device from iOS 14.8 to iOS 15 if it is running on iOS 14.8 or earlier.
It means that moving forward, iOS 15 won’t be able to be downgraded to iOS 14. Apple can only accomplish this by releasing a new version of iOS 14.
