Does ‘The Originals’ Star Joseph Morgan Have Kids?

In both the original series and the spinoff series, The Originals, Joseph Morgan played Klaus Mikaelson. Since 2014, the British actor has been married to his The Vampire Diaries co-star Persia White. Even though Joseph and Jennifer do not have children together, they are stepfathers to her daughter from a previous relationship. Klaus is a memorable vampire from The Vampire Diaries. It was Joseph Morgan who brought Klaus to life on The Originals.

Morgan has completed his portrayal of the character for the time being. While some fans hoped to see him reprise his role in Legacies, he refused. A few years ago, Morgan married his long-term partner. While working, he met his future wife, Persia White, and they hooked up immediately. But Morgan has no children at the moment.

Early History of Joseph Morgan:

Morgan was born on May 16, 1981, in London. He studied performing arts at Gower College Swansea, where he is the oldest of his family. In 2003, he starred in the TV movie Eroica. It wasn’t long after that Morgan landed his first recurring role in the British series Hex. Morgan was cast in five episodes as Troy. Mister Lonely and Immortals are two of his other works.

Morgan also starred in the Ben-Hur mini-series as the title character.

Morgan had the opportunity to star in The Vampire Diaries in 2011 as Klaus Mikaelson, an immortal vampire. Klaus is a strong vampire who is one of the original vampires. Morgan was only supposed to show up for a few episodes in season two, but he became a recurrent character in seasons three and four.

The Mikaelsons hold a party in the episode “Dangerous Liaisons.” The Originals is a spinoff series based on the episode. Morgan returned to the role of Klaus, but this time as the main character. Morgan directed three episodes of the program, which aired for five seasons.

How Joseph Morgan met his wife on “The Orginal’s” sister show:

Morgan met fellow actor Persia White on the set of The Vampire Diaries while filming season three. White played Bonnie Bennett’s mother, Abby Bennett, in a recurrent role on the program, and Breaker High fans may remember her. The actor, who is 48 years old, was born in the Bahamas. Before announcing their engagement, White and Morgan dated for a few years. Their wedding took place in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, in 2014.

Their wedding included a vegan cake and plant-based food, which was a fun tidbit. Aside from performing, White is committed to human and animal rights advocacy as well as environmental protection. Morgan switched to a vegan diet in 2014, and it completely transformed his outlook.

In one interview, he stated that going vegan had made him healthier. Morgan’s nutrition in real life could not be more different than his diet on The Originals, where he took bits out of hearts. He and White are still happily married now.

So Do Joesph Morgan have any Children?

Morgan does have a kid, but the two are not biologically connected. He and White haven’t had any children after over seven years of marriage. White is the father of a child from a prior relationship. Mecca is her daughter, and she was born in 1995. There isn’t a lot else we know about Mecca.

Morgan took her in when he and White married. The couple doesn’t appear to be planning any more children, and they look to be content with their current family. Morgan definitely recognizes his wife’s brilliance and how supportive she is of his profession. White and Morgan frequently use social media sites such as Instagram to show their love for one another.
